THE F-GRADE KID WHO SOLD HOMEWORK

I started making money before I even knew what a startup was.

My first business was in 7th grade, doing homework for 8th graders for 20 EGP a piece. The funniest part: I was not the smart kid. I was the F-grade kid. The year after, I failed math in finals and had to retake it in summer.

Looking back, it was never about being the smartest person in the room. It was about understanding what people wanted, making them trust me enough to pay, doing the work, and delivering.

GROWING UP FAST

I live with my mom and sister. I see my dad a few times a year. Responsibility was not a motivational quote. It was just life.

A lot of things felt miserable. Not in a dramatic movie way, just in the real way where you look around and realize nobody is coming to save you.

THE INTERNET ADDICTION PHASE

After the homework thing, I went through every classic internet hustle. Dropshipping. Failed. Trading. Failed. Got scammed. Tried random ways to make money online. Failed again.

Then I found apps, SaaS, and a world where one person with a laptop can build something, sell it, and actually make money online. That hit me hard.

13, BUILDING ON A BEATEN LAPTOP

At 13, in 2024, I started building SaaS products and mobile apps. When I say building, I mean vibecoding. No proper architecture, no GitHub, no deployments, no App Store knowledge. Just AI tools and force of will.

I probably started 10 SaaS ideas and 10 mobile apps. Most never reached the point where they could fail properly. Start hard, break something, quit, repeat.

FIRST REAL MONEY

Then I met a founder from the US on Discord. He was building his SaaS, and that became my first real online money.

He gave me a chance. He started paying me in splits. $200. Then $600. Then more. Around $1,700 in total.

I was 13. From Egypt. On a beaten Windows laptop. And I had made $1,700 online.

MIRA AI, AND ACTUALLY SHIPPING

Now I am 15, and the difference is I am not just starting things anymore. I am shipping.

My main project is Mira AI, a warm AI mental health companion that remembers you, checks in daily, and helps people understand their emotional patterns.

It has real customers, real payments, real feedback, TestFlight, Apple review, marketing, support, and bugs I actually have to fix instead of running away from.

I am 15. I live in Egypt. I grew up with my mom and sister. I was the bad grades kid selling homework. I failed math and still sold schoolwork to older kids.

But I am still here. Still building. Still getting better. Still turning all this chaos into something real.
